Arctic Handcraft and Design

The arctic handcraft and design is a unique festival in Northern Iceland, just 15 km south of Akureyri. At the festival exhibition, about 100 individuals are selected to sell their exclusive handcraft, art and design that often is based on the old Icelandic traditions. Some of the favourite materials used are the well known lava from Eyjafjallajökull, the legendary Icelandic wool, the delicate skin of lamb and reindeer not forgetting the luxurious fish leather. 

The Artic Handcraft and Design show is held 4-7 of August 2016, open Thursday-Saturday 12:00–19:00 and Sunday 12:00-18:00.
