    On the ground floor there is a bar and a lounge area with a piano and a TV and a pool table. On each floor there is a sitting room with lovely sofas. Everything is up to par in this hotel. And I will definitely stay there again next time I visit the lovely town of Akureyri.

    Our room was nice and spacious and very very clean. Most of the furniture looked fairly new. The staff was very nice and helpful. Something I found exciting about the Edda hotel chain is that they were all former schools, so the layout of the hotel is a little odd (but fun).

    The most known volcano in the world which blocked lots of flights across the world this year is just behind your window. Hotel is located in the school as all edda hotels. Rooms are spacious, shared bathroom…I recommend this place for every nature lover.
